2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how their site is used.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, and JavaScript-based tracking. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

If enabled, these are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to show relevant ads. These cookies are only set with your consent.

4. Third-party services we use

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, time spent on the Site, scroll depth, clicks on links and buttons, approximate location (derived from a truncated IP address), device type, and browser.

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the loading of these tags. Google Tag Manager does not itself collect personal data, but it controls when other tags fire.

We have enabled IP anonymisation and have not enabled Google Signals or advertising features unless stated otherwise. Data collected may be transferred to and processed by Google outside the European Economic Area, under Google's standard contractual clauses.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Microsoft Clarity

We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, in order to improve our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of our products and services and your online activity. We also use this information for site optimisation and fraud and security purposes.

Clarity automatically masks sensitive input fields such as passwords and payment details, and we have content masking enabled for any fields where users may enter personal information.

CLID — Microsoft (clarity.ms) — Identifies the first time Clarity saw this user on any site using Clarity — 1 year

ANONCHK — Microsoft (c.clarity.ms) — Indicates whether the user ID should be used for analytics purposes — 10 minutes

MUID — Microsoft — Identifies unique browsers across Microsoft domains, used for analytics and advertising — 1 year

SM — Microsoft (c.clarity.ms) — Used to synchronise the MUID across Microsoft domains — Session

MR — Microsoft (c.clarity.ms) — Indicates whether to refresh the MUID — 7 days

6. Managing your cookie preferences

Consent banner. When you first visit the Site, you will be shown a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer of any page.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working. Instructions for common browsers:

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for how these signals should be handled, and the Site does not respond to them at this time.
