## What is Jamu?

Jamu is a personal production studio built around creative intent. By using AI as a new interface, Jamu lets artists communicate ideas through natural language and translate them into concrete actions inside Ableton Live. The result is a more direct, expressive way to create — without narrowing creative possibilities.

Jamu is where creative decisions happen. Other tools, such as Ableton Live, act as execution engines underneath.

## How it works

Jamu is a Max for Live device that integrates directly into Ableton Live on macOS and Windows. Artists work through natural language — describing what they want — while Jamu handles execution underneath. Actions can be understood, adjusted, and redirected by the artist at any time. Creative direction and authorship remain with the artist.
